Red Kite Paddle

A very cold start and end so we did,nt stop for lunch. Ga was on a time constraint so we used the River as a training session.
So many birds, and a magical sighting of a pair of Red Kites.

It was still there on our return down must be a good spot

Met some guys in Canadians on their brew stop assumed some type of Joint Services Training.Whilst loading the boats and typical an RAF Hercules flew down the river and over the bridge and Castle that would have been a great shot!

Not my photo sadly but it was great to see a pair with a Buzzard close bye
