Conwy Morfa

Tide times were not ideal today so we thought we would try and bag some fish. After last Thursday and seeing a large bass being landed on the Orme we headed out from the Morfa again. This time with the tide, quiet a swell out there today and the wind picked up initially although after a couple of hours it all settled down leaving a great swell to push us back to the top end near to Penmaenmawr tunnel.Even I joined in and out the hand line out for some time but to no avail, the only fish we saw was the two tins of herring I had brought for late lunch.Paddled and fished our way back to the landing spot. The sun had really broken out and it was cracking flags. No fish but hey another great outing.
