Yes another paddle two in the same number of days.
This was arranged through Mary and it was a Llanfairfechan to Puffin, around the Island and return, an open crossing of just over four miles.
We met at 10.00 and two others from the NWSK’s were there, Chris and Jules.
Mary was delayed and as Ga had to get back for Adele’s riding lesson so unfortunately we had to go on the water.
A wavy crossing, just over 4 miles in 1.15 and the GPS packed in on the approach to the Island.
Around anti clockwise, met with some wind and wavy conditions on the other side, back around and landed for some lunch.
We had a visitor for lunch or perhaps it was the other way a young and friendly seal.
It wasn’t bothered by us and kept sunbathing.
It then literally joined us, approaching our feet and even doing a swimming display in front of us.
We were joined by the group and it approached the boats, even going up to Maurice and allowing him to stroke it.
A quick chat and off this time with the waves and wind behind us.
Just over 11 miles in total.
A cup of tea at the café then home.
One to tick off re the open crossing, a bit of an A to B with other than the Island not much to see.
