Conwy Paddle

Just about coming down from Norway but missing the place and paddling yes I must get a life.
Mail off MT asking if anyone fancied a paddle on Tuesday.
Arranged to meet at Rhos thought we could do the Ormes etc.
Winds looked good, I contacted Kev as he had sent a mail saying he had his dry suit and wanted to get out.
So three of us.
Went to Rhos at around 0945 to see a windy and choppy sea.
The key side at Deganwy now the edge of the new build of luxury house and the hotel.
Originally built for the shipping of wood from Norway!

It did,nt look good and it was the first time out for Kev since last year so my boat remained on the car and Conwy looked like a contingency some protection from the Easterlies. The guys arrived a quick chat and off to the Morfa.

Launched and on the last couple of hours of the outward we went into Conwy harbour which I love, off onto the Deganwy side then out and onto Penmaemawr.

Surfed along and had that thought that although within the next hour the tide would turn the wind would not so in for a long lunch.

Back into Conwy with the wind and waves in our face a good intorduction for Keva and a pleasant few hours.
