Alwen reservoir tab

Well you can’t always go out paddling, winds and time constraints so we organised a walk at the last minute.
About ½ way is Denbigh, Ruthin so I thought let’s have a walk come bimble around Llyn Brenig, about 10 miles.
The decision was made and come rain or high water we stated that weather was not a consideration.
Got up today and yes torrential rain still!
On my way there Ga changed plans and we were to go to the Alwen reservoir a short distance from Brenig and about 7 miles.
Wet, cold but soon warmed up, it’s the first run more or less for both of us for a while but managed to keep going and did nearly eight miles just under an hour and a half, not bad for the over fifties, still waiting to peak!
Seed sown and we have the taste again for some cross country, well we did do the Karrimor marathons mmmmm some years ago.
A great way to blow the cobwebs out, must do it again, next week was mentioned.

Saw many trees with this type of moss on looked interesting

The photo with Ga in action did,nt come out so this one had to do

Action......Look its me running, and cut.

The end did,nt we do well.
