The Welsh Anglo Tour Series Delayed Solstice Meet

Met the guys Friday afternoon, I got to the caravan at Red Wharf Bay early and met Ian so I was offered the bedroom ahhhh away from the noises of the African watering hole at night, the sounds of the bison and other such snoring creatures.
Misty and fine rain which cleared and we set off from Benlech for a quick paddle.
My new Greenland paddles the Inua,s from Mike had arrived, very nice.

Benlech beach........wait for me!

Yes we love our paddles Mike

What a machine

A splendid evening back to base camp for some refreshment, and to be joined by Ga
The forecast for Saturday looked mixed so we abandoned plans for camping which was disappointing so off to Porth Trecastell low winds forecasted lol low winds my bum.
Just over 14 miles
Some swell going out which increased to a 3/4 on our return

Into a calm Rhosneigr

Great paddles which handled well on our return

Ga and Ian did a swap for a short time Ian was,nt impressed with the plastic one

Views from 4 Mile Bridge
