The Welsh Anglo Tour Series Meet

Our annual spring meet, Gareth had organised the accommodation, which was about 5 mins from the Blue Lagoon, comfortable a great log burner.
So this year a pleasure to have Mr A Willacy with us after last years scare.
Big winds and seas so four days walking and two paddles a great week again.
Gareth, and I went in convoy and a couple of miles out met Badger purely by chance, kit dumped and we walked to the Blue Lagoon awaiting Andrew.

Can you see him Ga?

Our residence for the week

Sunday and time to get Badgers new Aries on the water

As always thinking of safety, whilst paddling and rock hopping Andrew decided on some protective head gear, as always the sensible one.

Have you got crabs Badger?

Looks pleased with his new toy

Some choppy and beam seas not ideal to set your new kayak up but both boat and Badger did well.

Back to the ranch, BBQ and a selection of beverages what a lovely sunset, we could see the hills over in Ireland.

A windy day and some of the photos reflect the large seas, so down to the coast and a left turn with a thanks to Ga and Andrew for the shuttle run

Watching me watching you.

Another windy day so down to the coast and a right turn Clive

Got any aches or pains, a slight cough well.........

It originally said Harry and Oliver bloody vandals

Three wise monkeys

Another windy day and another shuttle run so off for another bimble, Badger left us today.

A selfie!

The horse whisperer

Another walk, some fish feeding before we started though.
Off to St Davids

Our last day and off for another cave exploration day

Loads of cuttlefish floating around the coast

Thanks to the guys for another great TWATS week, mixed weather, the photos don't reflect the high winds and some big seas.
Until next time, Andrew,Badger and Gareth as always a pleasure.
