Colwyn Bay

Mark had not paddled for some time, the forecast looked good.
The plan was to do the Ormes, go against the flood for a while and come back with it for high water.
The sun shone but the winds picked up but nothing dramatic.
We launched and were met by big swells, its a fairly shallow coastline, I could tell that Mark was slightly apprehensive, the Jesus grip on the paddles and lack of conversation.
It appeared to increase and we pushed through Rhos On Sea.
A short distance later Mark stated he,d had enough.
