The double and kit was loaded Thursday night for Fridays paddle, Mrs Jones with a sick bug all Thursday night so nurses duties and the paddle canceled.
Well its been put up there and it is,nt coming off until paddled.
Saturday it is and what a day.
Launched from Penmaenmawr, not much portage and still 2 1/2 hours prior to HT.
Straight across to Puffin just over 5 miles in 50 mins.
Around anticlockwise, lots of birds but no seals, through the sound and lunch at our usual launch spot in Penmon.
No paddlers about!
Straight across to Llanfairfechan and back along to Pen.
Averaged 5 MPH, cloudy on landing and dull, timed perfectly same levels on landing as launch very little carriage again.
