Conwy Triangle

What a beautiful day, met at the beacons in Conwy and the plan was to turn right and go with the flood through to the Little Ormes and further, well at least till it ebbed.
Whilst getting ready we were met by an old paddling mate so after chatting a slightly delayed start.
Biggest tide of the year and you could see it flooding in.
Not much of a problem getting to the end of the Ormes.
The tide turned so foolishly decided to use it and head for Puffin, yes we knew it would be a slog back into Conwy.
A quick 9 miles to Puffin, three to the Ormes, met at the beach by a very large reception and a party of seals and the beach was wall to wall with them.
A fantastic moment surrounded by so many, no time to hang around we were being taken into the sound.
Off we went and ate on the hoof
The last mile was a slog, not much fun to be had but we eventually landed some 18 1/2 miles later and without a comfort break!
