We traveled out on Wednesday the 30/09/15, home to Manchester Airport, plane to Pisa, bus to the main railway station, train to the Port, Ferry and then bus to our accommodation, long day and very tiring.
We found a fabulous restaurant, great food, beers, local wines and grappa we went back to our hotel for a few cheeky ones and Mr Willacy cracked open the Penderyn.
As forecasted the following day was a tad damp and big winds.
We settled into our Villa and made plans for the improving weather.
High winds, so off for a walk, we could see the villages up in the hills so lets go and have a look.

I paddle around Elba every year and every time it's just fantastic to rediscover it's beautiful sea, each mile of its coastline, those vivid colours and pretty villages.
Fantastic trip guys and very nice pictures indeed !
Ciao
