Demo Day

Dave had paddled with us some weeks ago and although the proud owner of an Island Expedition after trying Gareth’s Alaw he had the Rockpool bug.
Dave had arranged a demo with Mike at Rockpool and although it was my 28th wedding anniversary to the day I realised I had married the right lady and had a pass out.
I arranged to meet Dave and we travelled up together from Bodelwyddan Castle.
To give Dave the option I arranged to take the Menai out.
Launched from a relatively quiet Dafarch, loads of sit on tops and many kayakers about.
Down to Rhoscolyn and rock hopping to again see loads of seals.
Stopped to see a young guy doing some solo climbing looked on by his family, arranged to put the photos on UK Climbing not often they get a sea angle.
Dave for some particular reason did not want to have a go of the Menai, he had already made his mind up and we were actually talking about the colour scheme.
Another convert, back home for a fantastic meal and then a hot tub.
