We generally meet up for the Summer solstice or the weekend
nearest to such, unfortunately this year the weather put a stop to that one.
Ian’s weekends were booked up so there was an opportunity to
do a mid week gathering providing work commitments could be sorted.
So it was sorted and I managed to have Wednesday to Friday
off.
I have also decided to try and sell the Scorpio and as an
alternative look at the Delphine for a play boating alternative.
Contacted Mr Baars and just managed to catch him on
Wednesday afternoon prior to him going off to a family birthday, jellies and
cake type.
Whilst in the area I called in to Rockpool and had a coffee
with Mr Webb and the current UK Circumnavigator record holder Mr Willacy once
again well done Sir!
To the caravan and met Ian and with being an early worm
grabbed a bedroom cosy.
Ga joined us later and off to the pub for some tucker and
fine ales.
A very pleasant paddle to Bull Bay for Cemaes and a great opportunity
to try the Delphine…I want one.
Loads of Porpoise around always makes for a special day
Joined by Mike Thursday night, some live music and then a
very wet and windy Friday still we got out.
Thanks to all a great couple of days
