Gareth had taken his Alaw to Mike at Rockpool last week for some minor repairs and he has also relented and had a skeg fitted.
So whilst we were in Holyhead it was only right to paddle on the North West coast of the Island.
Winds are picking up for the weekend so it was decided.
Dafarch down to Rhoscolyn and back.
A great place to launch clean toilets and a sandy beach for landing also this time of year an ice cream van.
What a fantastic day the sun came out and it was like summer.
Talking of which we saw our first swallow so that’s confirmed its on its way.
Met a couple who were on their last legs of circumnavigating the Island a guy and from the sticker a Canadian lady, well done to both.
Also another two kayakers further up, so hey it was busy!
Just under 10 miles let’s hope that it’s a sign for 2008!
